Allen is one of Dallas’s suburbs, and it’s located relatively far to the north, past Plano but south of McKinney. Like many of Dallas’s outlying suburbs, Allen is built on farmland, and many of the green, open spaces remain, making Allen an excellent place to relax for the weekend after getting burnt out from the city.
While this suburb is largely residential, it is home to its fair share of attractions, including The Golf Club at Twin Creeks and the Hydrous Wake Park. Allen is known for its many parks, including the Bethany Lakes Park, Celebration Park, and The Trail at the Woods.
Alongside these attractions, Allen is home to many local businesses vying with each other for supremacy over the local market. If you’re looking to expand your customer base and get a leg up on your competitors, you’ll likely be interested in our performance lead generation program.

Before Europeans settled in the area, Allen was previously inhabited by the Caddo and Comanche Native tribes. While settlers started to arrive in the mid-1800s, Allen was only established in 1872 by the Houston and Central Texas Railroad. This led to the town’s growth as an agricultural center, as its crops could now be exported.
