Here’s some cool information and fun facts about Tracy, California. Tracy City Hall and Jail, “Old Tracy Jail” was built in 1899 and was added to the National Registry of Historic Places. The Yokuts people lived here until the Spanish colonialists arrived in the mid 1700’s. Later the American and Mexican immigrants pushed the Yokuts out. In the 19th century, the Central Pacific Railroad came through and small communities grow along the line including Tracy.
